WEEKEND WARM-UP: Drivers and teams prepare for unique Las Vegas challenge
There are plenty of talking points ahead of the Las Vegas Grand Prix, with the F1 TV crew here to run through them all.
The Formula 1 paddock reconvenes this weekend for the Las Vegas Grand Prix, with plenty of topics up for discussion during the media day.
Drivers' Championship leader Lando Norris enters this weekend with a healthy 24-point lead over McLaren team mate Oscar Piastri after back-to-back wins in Mexico City and Sao Paulo, but has warned against the same this weekend.
The circuit's unique high-speed, low-downforce configuration along with cold temperatures has not been a happy hunting ground for McLaren since the location was added to the Formula calendar in 2023.
Piastri, meanwhile, says "there have been some tough lessons to learn" having failed to reach the podium in the last five Grands Prix which has also seen him lose a 34-point lead over Norris.
Max Verstappen also remains in contention for a fifth back-to-back title, the Red Bull driver 49 points behind Norris, and admitted he was "proud" to have closed a gap that once stood as high as 104 points.
Kimi Antonelli enters this weekend off the back of his best result so far in F1, claiming "a bit of a tough" meeting earlier in the season has spurred him, while Gabriel Bortoleto revealed the reasons for his huge Sao Paulo Sprint crash.
Join Laura Winter, Lawrence Barretto, James Hinchcliffe and Ruth Buscombe on Weekend Warm-Up for all of the above and much more.
