Emma Raducanu stunned fans around the world as she won the US Open on Saturday, and we have an onboard video of the self-confessed F1 fanatic taking a Pirelli Hot Lap around Silverstone.

The British tennis star's meteoric rise through the ranks has captured hearts of sports fans, and the 18-year-old is known to be an avid Grand Prix viewer – even watching the sessions in her New York City hotel room during the tennis tournament.

At the British Grand Prix, she had the enviable chance to be in the passenger's seat of a supercar for a Pirelli Hot Lap – which you can watch in the video player above.

Meanwhile the Mercedes F1 team congratulated her on her first Grand Slam victory, whlie Lewis Hamilton wrote on Instagram: "Wow dreams do come true. Well done @EmmaRaducanu first of many".
