Red Bull's Max Verstappen claimed a last-gasp pole position for the British Grand Prix following a scintillating Qualifying session at Silverstone.
Max Verstappen's stunning final lap in Qualifying for the British Grand Prix was enough to deny the McLaren duo of Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris pole position at Silverstone.
The Dutchman was the last driver to complete his final flying lap, and armed with a smaller rear wing to improve straight line speed, the Red Bull driver took top spot by just 0.103s with a 1m 24.892s.
It marks Verstappen's fourth pole position of the season as he sits 61 points behind Drivers' Championship leader at the halfway point of the campaign.
