The Turkish Grand Prix weekend threw up mixed weather conditions, which caused no end of drama at Istanbul Park. While Valtteri Bottas was relatively untroubled during the race as he crossed the line to win for the first time this season, the same couldn’t be said for those behind. The airwaves were full of anguish, with frustrated drivers up and down the field letting their feelings be known in no uncertain terms…
Kimi Raikkonen voiced his irritation after being the victim of a leaking drinks system, while Yuki Tsunoda was unimpressed by the driving of some of his rivals. Pierre Gasly and Max Verstappen had two different reactions to spinning, as a number of drivers struggled to stay on track in the slippery conditions.
Mick Schumacher was overjoyed to make Q2 on merit on Saturday, but George Russell was left disappointed after a mistake cost him a top 10 grid slot. Lewis Hamilton’s race engineer light-heartedly offered to sing to his charge before lights out, but had a much more difficult time of it during the race as strategy proved tough to nail – much to Hamilton's growing frustration.
