Ten years ago, the teams and drivers arrived in Melbourne ready to kick off the 2010 season with the Australian Grand Prix. What followed was something of a modern classic as the wet/dry conditions caught out plenty of top drivers, giving fans a terrific start to the new campaign.
Confusion and chaos reigned throughout the grid with the likes of Lewis Hamilton, Felipe Massa, Fernando Alonso and Sebastian Vettel struggling with the slippery track.

But a calm and collected Jenson Button – who was reigning world champion after his 2009 success with Brawn – was the first to switch to slicks on the drying track, allowing him to sweep to victory in his first race for new team McLaren.
