A closely-fought qualifying session means the inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix on Saturday night will boast one of the most varied grids of the season, with no less than eight teams featuring in the top 10 for lights-out.
Arch rivals Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen start on the front row for Ferrari and Red Bull respectively. The Scuderia dominated qualifying, but a 10-place grid penalty means Carlos Sainz will start from P12, rather than alongside his team mate.

Mercedes' George Russell and Alpine's Pierre Gasly make up row two, the latter securing his best grid slot of the year, and then come the Williams – the standout performers in qualifying – with Alex Albon in P5 and rookie Logan Sargeant starting his home race from a career-best P6.
Row four comprises Valtteri Bottas in the Alfa Romeo and Kevin Magnussen in the Haas, while Aston Martin's Fernando Alonso and Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton complete the top half of the grid, both former champions having endured disappointing qualifying sessions.
