In pictures - F1 drivers thrill crowds at events around the world
Daniel Ricciardo and Carlos Sainz thrilled a legion of Mexican fans with a thrilling demonstration in the heart of Mexico City on Saturday, four months before Formula One racing returns to the country following a 23-year absence.
The Red Bull duo were not the only F1 stars in action over the weekend: in Hungary, four-time F1 world champion Sebastian Vettel spearheaded a Ferrari Racing Days event at the Hungaroring, while in his native Netherlands, Toro Rosso rookie Max Verstappen was the star attraction of the 'Italia a Zandvoort' event. Verstappen was joined on circuit by father and former Grand Prix driver Jos, marking a very rare occasion that father and son have driven F1 machinery at the same time.
Elsewhere, Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen, Mercedes' Nico Rosberg and Williams' Felipe Massa were among a strong F1 contingent that starred at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in Great Britain.
