Lando Norris got out of his McLaren on Friday disappointed. His car had been upgraded for the Hungarian weekend as part of the team’s attempt to turn their title-defending season around, but ending the day half a second off the pace looked more like a minor step than a game-changing one.
Then the wind changed.
