HIGHLIGHTS: Watch the best moments as Piastri wins Belgian Grand Prix
Piastri took his sixth victory of the season in the rain-delayed Belgian Grand Prix.
Oscar Piastri took his sixth victory of the 2025 Formula 1 season, extending his championship lead over Lando Norris in a rain-affected Belgian Grand Prix.
After an 80-minute rain delay, Piastri wasted no time in seizing the lead from team mate Norris, out-dragging the Briton into Les Combes on the first racing lap.
As the track dried out, McLaren split the strategy of its two drivers, putting Piastri on medium tyres while Norris, who stopped one lap later, elected for hard rubber. After losing time with his extra tour, Norris was unable to close the gap as the championship points margin extended to 16.
Charles Leclerc completed the podium trio for Ferrari, with Max Verstappen fourth and George Russell improving to fifth. Lewis Hamilton was the biggest mover though, starting in the pit lane and finishing seventh, after being among the first to switch to slick tyres.
