HIGHLIGHTS: Watch all the action as Hamilton charges to victory at the Hungaroring
Lewis Hamilton described it as "a pretty beauitiful day" after his lights to flag victory at the Hungaroring – his eighth win at the circuit.
The six-time world champion had been in truly imperious form all weekend in Hungary, taking pole ahead of his team mate Valtteri Bottas on Saturday and following that up with a win on Sunday in a race in which he was never seriously challenged.
But behind him there was drama aplenty, as Bottas made a poor start to slip down the order early on, while Max Verstappen almost didn't make the start at all, after he crashed his Red Bull into the barriers on the way to the grid. But following some speedy work from his mechanics, he started the race and then drove the wheels off his car to score a brilliant podium.
To see that and all the rest of the action from the race, check out the highlights in the video above.
