HIGHLIGHTS: Relive the action from FP2 in Barcelona as Piastri heads the timesheets
With McLaren team mate Lando Norris having headed Free Practice 1 at the Spanish Grand Prix, it was Oscar Piastri’s turn in FP2, the Australian finishing a comfortable 0.286s ahead of his nearest rival.
That nearest rival was Mercedes’ George Russell, who himself headed the Red Bull of Max Verstappen – Norris in P4, despite having set the exact same time as the Dutch driver, albeit later in the session.

It was a trickier FP2 for Ferrari, Charles Leclerc taking P5, while team mate Lewis Hamilton – a six-time race winner in Spain – could only manage 11th.
