Gasly’s used and signed Senna tribute helmet goes up for auction on F1 Authentics

Pierre Gasly’s race-worn and signed Ayrton Senna tribute helmet has gone up for auction, with all of the proceeds set to go to the institute set up in the legendary Brazilian’s memory.
Gasly used the classic yellow, green and blue design during last weekend’s Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, where the F1 paddock gathered to remember both Senna and Roland Ratzenberger – 30 years after they were killed at Imola.

“I’ve been a big admirer of Ayrton for years now,” said Gasly. “It feels definitely special to wear it here, with all the legacy and the history of Ayrton and this track.
“I think it was important to pay tribute to one of the best we’ve ever known in the sport, so it’s definitely very special.”
All of the money raised in the auction will be given to the Instituto Ayrton Senna, which was officially formed by Senna’s family – with sister Viviane at the helm – just a few months after his passing.
