F3: Badoer takes first win in Monte Carlo Feature Race
Brando Badoer earned his maiden F3 victory with success in Monaco.

A perfect launch from second on the grid put Brando Badoer on the path to victory in Monte Carlo, with the Italian earning his maiden FIA Formula 3 win on Sunday morning.
The Rodin Motorsport driver got the perfect drive from P2 on the grid to pass pole-sitter Théophile Nael on the run to the first corner and didn’t look back.
He led all 27 laps of the Feature Race and kept Nael at arm’s length in the final stages to earn his first F3 victory.
Nael made up for a disappointing opening round in Melbourne to take his first podium of the season in second, while Freddie Slater finished third for TRIDENT.
Ugo Ugochukwu and Ernesto Rivera were fourth and fifth, ensuring Campos had all three cars in the top five to extend their lead in the Teams’ Standings.
Ugochukwu leads the Drivers’ Championship, now on 43 points, with Bruno del Pino in second and Slater third, separated by just a single point – 35 to 34. Badoer’s victory lifted him up to fourth and 28 points, while Nael’s podium finish meant he moved up to fifth.
