Every driver’s penalty points ahead of the 2026 Canadian Grand Prix

Here are the number of penalty points that each driver holds ahead of Round 5 of the 2026 season, the Canadian Grand Prix.

MIAMI, FLORIDA - MAY 02: Oliver Bearman of Great Britain and Haas F1 looks on during the Sprint

With the 2026 season still in its early stages, most of the drivers have so far managed to avoid picking up any penalty points across the opening four rounds.

However, as points remain on a driver’s Super Licence for 12 months before expiring, many are still carrying some that they received during the 2025 campaign. If a driver accumulates 12 points within that 12-month timeframe, they will receive a one-race ban.

Ollie Bearman is currently the most at risk of that punishment, having collected a total of 10 points – but fortunately for the Briton, two of these points will expire during the upcoming Canadian Grand Prix weekend. Lance Stroll will also lose two points from his tally at the event.
