F1 teams had one last chance to fine-tune their cars before the first qualifying session of the 2023 season on Saturday, with drivers taking to the Bahrain International Circuit for a busy final practice session.
In the early-afternoon heat, Aston Martin impressed once again as Fernando Alonso followed up his table-topping Friday performance with a benchmark FP3 time of 1m 32.340s – slotting ahead of the Red Bull, Mercedes and Ferrari machines.

Reigning world champion Max Verstappen wound up just 0.005s adrift, while the top six drivers were covered by less than four tenths, setting up the prospect of a thrilling battle for pole position under the lights.
