Mercedes topped both Friday practice sessions for the Spanish Grand Prix, but on Saturday morning Red Bull hit back as Max Verstappen went quickest in final practice before qualifying.
Lewis Hamilton had set the early pace, but once Verstappen bolted on a set of soft tyres he hustled his RB16B around the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya 0.253s faster than the reigning world champion, to set up a mouth-watering qualifying session.

The two title contenders were just ahead of the two Ferrari drivers, with Charles leclerc an impressive third fastest ahead of Carlos Sainz.
Elsewhere there were tricky moments for Kimi Raikkonen, who picked up a puncture, and Lando Norris, who bounced over the gravel after getting it wrong at the newly remodelled Turn 10.
