Mercedes topped both Friday practice sessions for the Spanish Grand Prix, but on Saturday morning Red Bull hit back as Max Verstappen went quickest in final practice before qualifying.
Lewis Hamilton had set the early pace, but once Verstappen bolted on a set of soft tyres he hustled his RB16B around the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya 0.253s faster than the reigning world champion, to set up a mouth-watering qualifying session.
