HIGHLIGHTS: Relive the thrilling 2022 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix
The second race of the season had a tough act to follow after a brilliant battle in Bahrain last weekend, but Saudi Arabia move than lived up to those very high expectations.
There was heartbreak for Sergio Perez thanks to some bad luck with Safety Car timings, brief joy for Charles Leclerc who looked on course for a second-straight victory, but ultimately it was all about Max Verstappen – with the Red Bull man opening his 2022 win tally in style.

The Dutchman put that disappointing DNF from the opening race well and truly behind him, just about beating Leclerc home after those two traded the lead across a number of laps. Add in crashes for both Williams drivers, a slew of retirements and an appearance from the Safety Car, and the race in Jeddah was certainly action-packed.
