Lewis Hamilton led his team mate George Russell as the Mercedes pair set the pace in FP2 for the Bahrain Grand Prix.
Hamilton, beginning his final year with the Silver Arrows, clocked a 1m 30.374s as the session reached its halfway point – 0.206s ahead of Russell.

Fernando Alonso followed up the Silver Arrows duo in third while Carlos Sainz of Ferrari was fourth fastest. McLaren’s Oscar Piastri rounded out the top five, with defending champion Max Verstappen in sixth place.
