HIGHLIGHTS: All the action from Austrian GP qualifying as Norris pushes Verstappen for pole
Qualifying for the Austrian Grand Prix was a thrilling affair with superb results for two British drivers – though Lewis Hamilton was not one of them.
Max Verstappen took pole position, but only by the thinnest of margins ahead of Lando Norris who was in fantastic form for McLaren, and will start Sunday's race on the front row.
QUALIFYING REPORT: Verstappen edges out sensational Norris to take Austrian GP pole
Sergio Perez was third, with Lewis Hamilton able to do no better than fourth, with Valtteri Bottas fifth as Mercedes could do nothing to match Red Bull's pace.
Norris's fellow Brit George Russell was also wringing every last drop of pace from his car, making Q3 for the first time as a Williams driver to qualify ninth.
